SUMMARY:SQL Standards Update
DESCRIPTION:Abstract: The SQL standard has expanded over the last 30 years 
 to support new technology including XML, temporal data, JSON, Row Pattern R
 ecognition, and Polymorphic Table Functions. This session will present a br
 ief history of the SQL Standard, a high level overview of the features in t
 he SQL:2016 standard, and introduce current directions including adding sup
 port for streaming data and property graphs.  Speaker: Keith Hare Convenor,
  ISO/IEC JTC1 SC32 WG3 Database Languages  Speaker short bio: Keith Hare is
  a Senior Consultant for JCC Consulting, Inc. He specializes in high perfor
 mance database systems and data replication. Keith has been convenor of the
